Baller League USA has named Kalshi as its Official Trading Partner and front-of-shirt sponsor for all Baller League USA kits, granting the prediction marketplace rights to broadcast every game through direct media channels.
"We're proud to welcome Kalshi, the world's largest prediction market, as a new official trading partner powering the next era of football," Baller League USA said.
"This partnership marks a major step in our commitment to create a more interactive, data-driven experience for fans across every Baller League match day."
Kalshi will also provide live market integrations across all Baller League USA broadcasts, as well as receive branded in-stadium activations as part of the collaboration.
Despite the new partnership, Kalshi witnessed negative results from its ongoing trial in Nevada after Judge Andrew Gordon of the US District Court for the District of Nevada denied the operator's stay which would've prevented regulators from issuing a cease-and-desist order.
Lawyers representing Kalshi believed the stay should have been easily granted since Nevada would not object, but state regulators argued against the claims after stating Kalshi "has not met the prerequisites for that relief."
Judge Gordon also dissolved Kalshi's preliminary injunction in November, which allowed the operator to conduct business in Nevada as the trial was ongoing.
If Kalshi wishes to continue operating in Nevada, it will now be required to file an emergency motion in the US Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. Even with the denial, Nevada regulators are not expected to take such enforcement action in the short-term.
The operator also continues to wait for a New Jersey Appeals Court to issue its stance on Kalshi's preliminary injunction, obtained earlier in 2025. The appeal from New Jersey regulators was filed in the Third Circuit Court in May, but no decision has been made at the time of writing.
Maryland AG Anthony Brown issued a statement regarding Kalshi's appeal against the US District Court for the District of Maryland on December 16, believing the Court's denial from October 'should be affirmed'
