Claudio Seguel has assumed the Presidency of Lotería para Obras de Acción Social (LOAS), the state lottery operator of the Argentinian province of Santa Cruz, taking over from Claudia Pavez.
Seguel held his first meeting with LOAS staff following his appointment, outlining his priorities for the organization, including teamwork, dialogue and collaboration.
The meeting was attended by Sebastián Georgion, the provincial Minister of Social Development, Equality and Integration, whose ministry Seguel previously represented on the LOAS board before being appointed President.
During the meeting, he said: "I want to thank Governor Claudio Vidal for the trust placed in me to take on this new challenge. To the Lotería team, I want to say that we are going to work together, calmly, building on the knowledge and experience of every agent to keep strengthening this institution."
"My wish is that we work united, with commitment and a common goal, to keep strengthening Lotería de Santa Cruz. I am convinced that every person's contribution will be fundamental to keep growing as an institution."
Georgion also addressed the gathering, expressing his backing for the new administration and confidence in the management now underway.
Pavez, who led LOAS before Seguel, thanked the Provincial Government for the trust placed in her during her time in office and wished the incoming leadership well, saying she would continue taking on new personal and professional challenges.
The leadership change comes after a year in which LOAS expanded its Telebingo program, launched the DeporBingo initiative to support local sports clubs and continued its responsible gambling awareness campaigns across the province.
