Resorts World Las Vegas has made two promotions among its executive team, with Josef Wagner now serving in the SVP of Operations role, and Suzie Rugh being named VP of Communications.

"Previously serving as SVP of Food & Beverage, Josef played a key role in strengthening our F&B organization & guest experience to keeping team culture at the center of every decision," Resorts World Las Vegas said when announcing the promotions.

"In his new role, Josef will focus on delivering a seamless, luxury guest journey across hotel, casino, dining, entertainment, retail and public spaces, aligning teams, standards and operations to ensure consistency, ease and impact at every touchpoint."

Wagner had previously served as Resorts World Las Vegas SVP of Food & Beverage, but will now expand his responsibilities to oversee the "full end-to-end resort experience."

Rugh held the Director of Public Relations role at MGM Resorts International prior to joining Resorts World Las Vegas as Executive Director of Public Relations and Communications in June 2025.

Resorts World Las Vegas commented on Rugh's appointment, having said, "From strengthening our luxury brand positioning to driving meaningful growth and positive sentiment, her leadership has helped elevate how we show up, tell our story and connect with high-value guests."

In September, Resorts World Las Vegas appointed Lou Dorn to Chief Legal Officer and Corporate Secretary as well as Elizabeth Tranchina to serve as General Counsel in an effort to bolster the property's compliance team.

Under their new roles with Resorts World Las Vegas, Dorn and Tranchina began overseeing all legal, regulatory, governance and risk-related functions for the operator while helping to drive "operational excellence" and support long-term growth.

Dorn most recently served as SVP and General Counsel for Bally's North American operations, while Tranchina has held senior leadership roles with Rio Hotel & Casino and Investar Bank.
