SportsContentCo (SCC) and Quantum Sports Data Limited (QSD) have formed a new strategic partnership to introduce the first-ever same game parlay (SGP) technology to golf's regulated sports betting market in the US.

SCC also led QSD's recent funding round which completed on December 22, and will utilize its US distribution network to support SGP integrations across betting, exchange and media platforms.

"QSD has built a truly differentiated golf betting product," SCC Chairman Pat Deon said.

"Together, we're bringing meaningful innovation to the US market."

As part of the collaboration, Dean will also be joining the data and analytics supplier's Board of Directors.

QSD's parlay technology allows users to combine multiple outcomes from a single golf tournament, round or hole into one wager, and is set to launch prior to the 2026 Masters Tournament in April.

"SportsContentCo is the ideal partner for our US expansion," QSD CEO Dylan Beirne said.

"This partnership sets a new standard for golf wagering."

In related news, Robinhood Markets introduced pre-set combinations on the outcome, totals and spreads of individual NFL games on December 18, directly competing with parlay and prop bet offerings seen on traditional sports betting platforms.

The features were unveiled as part of Robinhood's keynote event in San Francisco, California, with VP and GM of Futures and International JB Mackenzie stating the offering will have the same "structural look or feel as a parlay."

According to Robinhood, the marketplace will look to extend such offerings outside of the NFL in the near future, including opportunities for non-sports-related events such as economic data.
