Lotería para Obras de Acción Social (LOAS) of Santa Cruz, in Argentina, distributed 261 toys to churches and community kitchens in Río Gallegos, concluding its holiday solidarity campaign coordinated by the operator's Responsible Gaming and Social Responsibility team.
The campaign, titled "Un Juguete por una Sonrisa" (A Toy for a Smile), collected new and gently used toys from November through December. The initiative supported children and families assisted by social organizations across the city, with distribution coordinated alongside representatives from each institution based on the number of people they serve.
At the campaign's launch, Claudia Pavez, President of Lotería de Santa Cruz, said: "Each toy we receive represents a smile that reaches a child. We invite the entire community to join and be part of this simple but profoundly meaningful gesture."
The lottery highlighted that the campaign is sustained each year through public participation and collaboration with community organizations.
Recipient institutions included several social and community organizations, while donations were collected at LOAS' office and through a dedicated phone line set up for coordination.
The operator emphasized that the initiative forms part of its broader commitment to responsible gaming and social responsibility programs, strengthening community outreach efforts that run in parallel with its gaming operations in the province of Santa Cruz.
LOAS reported a 51% revenue increase between April and October 2025 compared to the same period in 2024
