Jeju Dream Tower reported a sharp increase in casino sales for the 2025 financial year, with full-year takings reaching KRW 476.6bn ($330m), according to consolidated disclosures from operator Lotte Tour Development.

The foreigner-only casino resort on Jeju Island recorded a 61.8% year-on-year rise for the January to December period, supported by stronger table game activity and improving foreign visitor demand.

Table games remained the primary earnings driver. Full-year table game revenue climbed 64.9% to KRW 455.6bn, representing the vast majority of casino sales. Slot machines contributed KRW 21.1bn ($14.6m), up 14.4% year on year, indicating continued growth in electronic gaming despite a smaller overall contribution.

Monthly results showed late-year seasonality. In December, casino sales totalled KRW 41.0bn, down 20.2% from November but up 73.8% compared with December 2024.

Table game revenue for the month was KRW 38.9bn, reflecting a 22.1% sequential decline while still increasing 75.6% year-on-year. Slot machine revenue moved in the opposite direction, rising to KRW 2.1bn, up 44.2% month-on-month and 46.4% year-on-year.

Non-gaming performance was mixed. Hotel revenue for the full year fell 4.8% to KRW 80.6bn. December, however, showed a rebound, with hotel revenue rising 16.0% from November and 36.8% year-on-year to KRW 7.5bn.

Opened in December 2020, Jeju Dream Tower is one of South Korea's largest integrated resorts, combining a foreigner-only casino with the Grand Hyatt Jeju hotel and additional retail and dining offerings.

South Korea's foreigner-only casino market showed uneven monthly performance in late 2025. In October, Grand Korea Leisure reported casino sales fell 6.5% year-on-year to KRW 28.56bn despite a 5.5% increase in gaming drop, as table revenue declined while machine revenue rose.

The update followed broader regional portfolio shifts, including Bloomberry Resorts' announcement in late October that it planned to divest its Jeju Sun Hotel & Casino.
