The Illinois Gaming Board has released the state’s total casino activity for December 2025, as electronic gaming devices (EGDs) and table games generated $169.1m for an increase of 7.6%.
EGDs managed to account for just over $128.9m of the total revenue produced by Illinois casinos for December 2025, rising 9.5%, while table games generated $40.1m and increased 2% year-over-year.
Rivers Casino produced the highest revenue of any Illinois gaming establishment during the monthly period, reporting $45.7m for growth of 6.2%. Wind Creek Chicago Southland generated a December 2025 casino revenue of $17.2m, equating to an increase of 53.1%.
Grand Victoria Casino and Hard Rock Casino Rockford produced casino revenues of $12.7m and $11.8m for December 2025, respectively, representing an increase of 8.5% for Grand Victoria, but a 2.5% fall for the Hard Rock International property.
Hollywood Casino Joliet also eclipsed the $10m mark after generating $11.1m for December 2025 and increasing 47.5%, as well as Full House Resorts Illinois which produced just over $10.8m and grew 12.8%.
Bally’s Chicago managed to report a December 2025 casino revenue of $9.9m, but witnessed a decrease of 3.4% from the prior year period. Harrah’s Joliet Casino and DraftKings at Casino Queen reported monthly revenues of $9.3m and $5.5m, respectively, equating to decreases of 7% and 33.3%.
Finally, Harrah’s Metropolis Casino witnessed a decrease in casino revenue of 4.6% to $4.9m for December 2025, while revenue at Hollywood Casino Aurora fell 6.6% year-over-year to nearly $8m.
Operators submitted over $46.7m in state taxes during the monthly period, as well as $10.6m to the local cities in which its properties reside.
