The Plaza Hotel & Casino in downtown Las Vegas has become the first property in Nevada and just the second across the entire US to launch Galaxy Gaming’s Monopoly table game progressive.
The table game offering was developed following Galaxy Gaming’s collaboration with Hasbro, originally formed in July 2025.
“Galaxy Gaming is launching a new line of ‘enhanced’ table games, starting with Monopoly-themed experiences. These aren’t just branded overlays – they’re deeply integrated with Monopoly’s iconic elements like properties, houses, hotels, the game pieces and Mr. Monopoly himself,” Galaxy Gaming President and CEO Matt Reback said at the time of announcement.
“It is important to understand that Monopoly isn’t just a game. It’s a cultural touchstone with nearly 90 years of global recognition. By integrating Monopoly into all-new table game concepts, Galaxy is tapping into nostalgia and brand awareness that few can match.”
Galaxy Gaming is also continuing to prepare for its eventual merger with Evolution Malta Holding Limited, as the entities’ agreement was recently extended until July 17, 2026.
Evolution will acquire Galaxy Gaming for a total equity value of approximately $85m, originally reaching agreement on the transaction in July 2024.
