The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported the state’s total gaming revenue for December 2025, as slot machine and table game activity combined to generate $1.4bn during the monthly period, equating to a decrease of 1.6%.
Table games located at Nevada commercial gaming establishments witnessed an increase in December 2025 revenue of 0.1% to $480.4m, but slot machine revenue fell 2.4% for a total of just over $958.2m.
Multi-denomination slots led all machines with $756.6m of revenue for December 2025 and increased 10.4%, while baccarat generated the highest revenue of any table game but decreased 17%.
How did Nevada fare during December?
Nevada’s Clark County area, which includes the Las Vegas Strip and Downtown Las Vegas, reported a decrease in total gaming revenue of 2.2% to $1.3bn. The Las Vegas Strip witnessed a fall in revenue of 6.1% to $827.7m, while Downtown Las Vegas managed to increase revenue by 4.7% to $86.1m.
Within the Clark County area, North Las Vegas and Laughlin also increased gaming revenues for December 2025, reporting growth of 5.3% and 9.8%, respectively, for monthly totals of $26.6m and $37.9m.
Boulder Strip reported a 9% increase in December 2025 gaming revenue to just over $95.7m, while revenue produced by commercial properties in Mesquite, Nevada grew 11.2% to $17.8m.
The state’s Washoe County area managed to increase gaming revenue by 1.5% to $91.4m for December 2025, despite a 1.6% decrease in gaming revenue for Reno casinos to $64.8m. Sparks generated the second highest revenue in Washoe County, increasing 10.3% to $16.6m.
South Lake Tahoe and Elko County generated gaming revenue increases of 7.5% and 1.9%, respectively, for December 2025, producing $20.8m and $34.9m during the monthly period. The Carson Valley Area reported a decrease of 0.5% year-over-year, but still accounted for $11.7m of the state’s total revenue.
What were the Silver State’s full-year results?
The NGCB also reported the state’s gaming activity for full-year 2025, as revenue increased 1.2% to $15.8bn despite a fall in tourism witnessed across Las Vegas due in part to rising costs on the Strip as well as a reduction in visitors from Canada.
Flipping the results generated for December 2025, slot machines produced an increase in revenue for FY2025 of 1.9% to $10.7m, while table game revenue fell 0.1% for a total of nearly $5.1bn. During FY2025, baccarat and blackjack accounted for the highest table game revenues with $1.4bn and $1.2bn, respectively, equating to growth of 3.4% but a decrease of 10.5% for the twenty-one card game.
Multi-denomination slots generated by far the most revenue of any machine for FY2025 after producing $8.1bn and increasing 13.6%, with second place taken by one-cent machines despite a 25.9% decrease in revenue to $1.8bn.
Clark County revenue grew 0.9% year-over-year for a FY2025 total of $13.7bn, with revenue from Downtown Las Vegas increasing 2.1% to $951.2m and the Las Vegas Strip’s revenue climbing 0.03% to just over $8.8bn.
Revenue in Washoe County increased 3.4% during FY2025 to nearly $1.1bn, while the Carson Valley area managed to grow revenue by 3.6% from the prior year period to account for $140.6m of the state’s total gaming revenue.
The NGCB nominated convicted illegal bookmaker Mathew Bowyer to join the state’s “Black Book” on January 15, which prohibits him from entering any commercial gaming establishment in Nevada
