Lopesan Hotel Group, which currently operates Lopesan Costa Bavaro Resort, Spa & Casino in the Dominican Republic, will expand its presence across the country with the launch of three new resorts during Q2 2026.
Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino, Lopesan Serenity Bay and Lopesan Splash Cove will all debut in the “late spring,” according to Lopesan Hotel Group, with Serenity Bay serving as an adults only resort in Punta Cana.
"We're excited to begin welcoming bookings for this next phase of Lopesan's presence in Punta Cana," Lopesan Hotel Group Managing Director José Alba said.
"By creating distinct resort experiences within one location, we're able to offer travelers of different ages and interests a more personalized way to connect with the destination and with each other."
The operator has begun accepting bookings for each of the three new resorts, and will also offer a 10% introductory discount for reservations made prior to February 28.
Lopesan Hotel Group has been operating for over 50 years and currently oversees properties in the Dominican Republic, Germany, Spain and Austria while managing over 4,000 employees across the globe.
The opening of Lopesan Caoba Lagoon Resort, Spa & Casino will also feature the integration of Lopesan Hotel Group’s introductory campaign, Flow, which is said to be inspired by “the idea that we are, at our core, made mostly of water.”
Lopesan Serenity Bay will house 239 suites, an 820-seat theatre and a casino, while Lopesan Splash Cove includes 244 rooms and beach access for guests.
Plans for a third private casino in Punta del Este moved forward on January 15, as a Brazilian-backed investment group will formally submit a new project to Uruguay’s Ministry of Economy and Finance
