Betsson Group has announced the formal one-game donation of its Club Brugge front-of-shirt sponsorship slot to the Club Brugge Foundation.
Indeed, Club Brugge's UEFA Champions League clash with PSV Eindhoven will see the Belgian side's shirt display "No Heart No Glory," the Foundation's motto, in lieu of the usual Betsson.sport sponsorship logo.
This initiative comes as the Club Brugge Foundation celebrates its 20th anniversary year this year, with the special edition shirt acting as a joint celebration between Betsson and Club Brugge, of the Foundation's decades of hard work and support. Further, this latest action falls in the wake of an additional initiative, which also saw Betsson donate its Club Brugge front-of-shirt sponsorship visibility to the "No Heart No Glory" slogan earlier this year.
Betsson also partnered with the Club Brugge Foundation to promote blood and plasma donation across the Flanders region of northern Belgium. This latest development falls in the wake of an additional recent CSR initiative from Betsson which saw the operator launch the Betsson Foundation, combining its two pre-existing charitable foundations, as it looks to expand its global community initiatives.

It has been a busy time for the operator, which recently reported a record revenue figure of €326.5m ($367.3m) during Q2, offset by a 44% drop in net income. Speaking exclusively to Global Gaming Insider, CEO Pontus Lindwall attributed the drop to headwinds on the B2B side of the business.
Elsewhere, the organisation also completed the acquisition of Rhino Entertainment during Q3, expanding its Canadian presence as part of a recent strategy to support its B2B revenue growth streams.
Similarly to Italy, Belgium has strict laws around gambling advertisement and sponsorship in sports, with Betsson.sport being the operator's non-gambling infotainment brand
