Casino operator Paradise Co Group has unveiled its financial figures for the month of January, highlighting sales revenue of KRW 94.3bn ($65.05m), up 31.4% in comparison to this time last year.

Indeed, overall sales reported by Paradise for January 2026 also increased by just under KRW 20bn – or 23.5% – from December 2025, marking a notable month-over-month improvement driven by significant foot traffic increases from its numerous casino locations across South Korea.

Casino Busan Paradise experiences a January turn around

After reporting a 21.1% year-over-year revenue drop during the month of December 2025, Paradise’s Busan casino location turned things around during January, driving year-over-year revenue growth of 85.6% to KRW 8.4bn during the month.

Elsewhere, Jeju Grand also experienced a 51.1% revenue upswing to KRW 3.8bn during January, followed closely by Paradise City, which saw sales growth of 47.4% to KRW 51.9bn, making it the operator’s primary revenue driver. Despite experiencing by far the lowest growth of 2.1%, Walkerhill casino was Paradise’s second-highest earner of the month, reporting a revenue of KRW 30bn.

Month-over-month, revenue rose across all four of the above-mentioned locations, despite drop figures falling by around 2% at Paradise City.

January drop growth slows to 9%

Year-over-year, the drop growth from December 2025 was reported at 11.4%. Last month, drop growth reduced slightly to the still healthy figure of 9.2%, settling at KRW 632bn overall. Largely driven by high January engagement figures from Casino Busan Paradise, the casino location saw a drop increase of 90.8% year-over-year, reaching KRW 58.7bn.

Elsewhere, Paradise City experienced the highest January drop – similar to handle – of all Paradise Co casino locations, rising 4.9% from last year to KRW 327.9bn. Walkerhill also saw a drop figure of KRW 228.4bn in January, up 2.5%. Finally, despite recording the lowest drop figure of KRW 17.6bn, Jeju Grand managed to turn around a drop growth figure of 31.9% year-over-year in January after recording a year-over-year downturn of 39.2% during December 2025.

Paradise Co Group on the rise?

These latest results closely follow Paradise Co's full-year 2025 financial figures, which were released last month and saw the operator record a revenue of KRW 900bn, up almost 10% in comparison to results from 2024.

Despite this, December 2025 saw the operator record a revenue decline of 5% compared to results from November 2025, largely due to the seasonal tourist traffic lull often accompanying the festive season.

Good to know

These latest results see the company remain on track for its steady growth plan through 2027, as outlined in Q2 2025.
