Expanse Studios partners with Vaso Bakocevic to unveil first celebrity-branded slot title

Expanse Studios, a Golden Matrix Group subsidiary, has launched its first-ever celebrity-branded slot title, Vaso Psycho, in partnership with former mixed martial arts (MMA) fighter Vaso Bakocevic. 

The launch was said to add a “strategic layer” to Expanse Studios’ current content model, as branded IPs offer the supplier a “unique licensing element” which combines game development with celebrity-driven promotion. 

"This collaboration brings together two things the Balkan market knows well: MMA and the thrill of high-stakes gaming," Expanse Studios CEO Damjan Stamenkovic said.

Bakocevic fought in 69 contests throughout a 15-year career, including with organizations such as Bellator MMA, the KSW, FNC and BKFC. 

According to Expanse Studios, Bakocevic offers a “built-in promotional network” after forming a presence in multiple European markets, including Serbia, Montenegro, Bosnia, Croatia and Herzegovina. 

Vaso Psycho was developed around the former MMA fighter’s likeness, nickname and fighting identity, while attempting to replicate the “tension and volatility” of professional fighting competition. 

The slot title also features promotional tools such as free spins, bonus buy and multilevel progressive jackpots, as well as offers social casino compatibility for real-money and alternative gaming formats. 

Vaso Psycho is currently live across European markets where Expanse Studios maintains operation, while the title’s full global rollout will be completed by the end of February 2026, as confirmed by the supplier.
