Hacksaw Gaming and Delaware North are partnering up in West Virginia.
Delaware North is primarily a food and hospitality company, but the multinational has a variety of business interests, including a portfolio of racecourses and casinos.
In West Virginia, that portfolio is complemented by the Wheeling Island Hotel-Casino-Racetrack and Mardi Gras Casino & Resort.
The company even has a branch of mobile sports betting and iGaming operations in West Virginia and other states, through its brand Betly.
While few details have been shared about the nature of the partnership, it’s understood that it is through the iGaming aspect of Delaware North’s business that this partnership will be realized.
Bob Akeret, General Manager of Interactive Gaming at Delaware North, said: “Partnering with Hacksaw Gaming is an exciting step forward for Betly as we continue to elevate our iCasino experience. Their innovative, high-energy games are a perfect fit for our players, and this collaboration reinforces our commitment to delivering best-in-class entertainment on the Betly app.”
Away from the Mountain State, Delaware North's US gaming division spans New York, New Hampshire, Arizona, Arkansas, Florida, Ohio and Illinois, though for now this partnership is concentrated on players in West Virginia.
Hacksaw Gaming’s CEO, Marcus Cordes, commented on the deal, saying: “We’re thrilled to be partnering with Delaware North, their dedication to player experience makes them an ideal partner for us.”
He added: “We’re excited to deliver a top-tier catalog of content to West Virginian players and look forward to what’s ahead.”
It is not Hacksaw’s first new venture in the US this year, having announced an expanded partnership with Bet365 in Pennsylvania during January.
Delaware North offers its catering services at the England national team’s Wembley Stadium, West Ham’s The London Stadium and the Emirates Stadium
