The operator originally announced its intention of hosting a grand ceremony for Marshall Yards Racing & Gaming in January 2026, but will now officially debut the facility to southwestern Kentucky residents.
Carstanjen also spoke on what the near $45m investment will provide for the local community, having said, “Marshall Yards represents another important step in our commitment to grow Kentucky’s signature horse racing industry and deliver world-class entertainment experiences across the Commonwealth.
“This investment will create new jobs, drive tourism and strengthen the economic vitality of Marshall County and its surrounding communities.”
