Golden Entertainment has reported its financial results for the fourth quarter of 2025 and FY, as the operator witnessed an $8.5m net loss for the quarterly period, as well as a FY2025 net loss of just over $6m.
Q4 financial performance details concerning trends for Golden Entertainment
During the fourth quarter of 2025, Golden Entertainment reported a total net revenue of $155.6m, representing a decrease of 5.2%. The operator’s adjusted EBITDA also fell year-over-year, decreasing 14.4% to $33.5m for Q4 2025.
Gaming operations were the only vertical to report an increase in revenue from the prior year period, rising 2.1% for a Q4 2025 total of $80m. Food & beverage and rooms operations accounted for $40m and $23.1m of Q4 2025 revenue, respectively, equating to decreases of 7.7% and 22.4%.
Operating expenses during Q4 2025 rose 3.6% to nearly $158m, while Golden Entertainment reported an operating loss of just over $2.3m for the quarterly period. Nevada casino resorts generated $90.2m of revenue for the operator during Q4 2025 and fell 7.5%, while locals casinos revenue decreased 3.4%.
Nevada taverns produced an additional $27.7m of revenue for the quarterly period and managed to increase year-over-year by 0.1%.
Golden Entertainment’s FY2025 results fail to generate positive momentum
While the operator witnessed a net loss of just over $6m for FY2025, revenue and adjusted EBITDA also fell by 4.8% and 9.9%, respectively, for totals of $634.9m and $140m during the full-year period. Operating income decreased 80.8% from the prior year period to $21.5m, perhaps driven by a 10.6% increase in operating expenses to $613.4m.
Golden Entertainment’s gaming vertical accounted for $316.1m of revenue but decreased 1%, while food & beverage managed to produce $162.9m of revenue and fell 5.2%. Rooms business reported a 12.1% decrease in FY2025 revenue to $105.1m, while Golden Entertainment’s other revenue generated $50.7m and fell 9.5%.
Nevada casino resorts produced $375.6m of FY2025 revenue for Golden Entertainment, representing a decrease of 5.9%. Golden Entertainment’s locals casinos witnessed a minor revenue loss of 0.03% to $150.9m, while Nevada taverns generated $107.2m of revenue during FY2025 but decreased 2.3%.
