Paradise Co recorded a strong recovery in July, with casino revenue reaching its highest monthly level of 2026 after rebounding from a weaker June.

According to preliminary monthly results, casino revenue totaled KRW77.9bn in July, representing a 25.8% increase from June's KRW61.9bn and a 3.6% improvement compared with the same month last year.

The recovery was driven primarily by table games, which generated KRW73.5bn in revenue during the month. This marked a 30.3% increase from June and a 3.6% rise year over year, reaffirming table games as the company's largest source of casino revenue.

Slot machine revenue moved in the opposite direction, declining 20.2% month over month to KRW4.4bn. However, it remained 3.6% higher than July 2025.

Gaming volumes also improved during the month. Table drop, which measures the amount of cash or credit exchanged for gaming chips, increased to KRW671.6bn, up 4.8% from June and 15% compared with a year earlier. For the first seven months of 2026, cumulative table drop reached KRW4.49tn, representing a 9.1% year-over-year increase.

Year-to-date performance also remained positive despite the volatility seen in recent months. Casino revenue totaled KRW554.3bn through the end of July, up 4.6% from the same period in 2025. Table game revenue increased 3.7% to KRW518.1bn, while slot machine revenue climbed 19.4% to KRW36.2bn.

The July rebound follows a weaker June, when casino revenue fell 21.2% year over year and 35.6% from May, prompting a slowdown in first-half momentum despite overall growth. The latest figures suggest demand has strengthened again entering the second half of the year.

Earlier this year, the company also introduced a co-chief executive structure as part of a broader governance overhaul designed to strengthen minority shareholder protections.
