Registration for ICE Barcelona 2026 has opened, with an unprecedented flurry of sign-up activity coming in the first 24 hours according to Clarion Gaming, who organise the event.
Clarion Gaming's Head of Marketing Jody Frost said that within 24 hours, 1,266 industry professionals from around the world had signed up to attend.
Achieving these "explosive numbers" early on has set the event (January 18-23) on record-breaking registration pace, just one year after the first ICE to take place in Barcelona broke all attendance figures for the conference.
Clarion's propelling message for the industry gathering is represented in its 'Growing the Power of Play' campaign - this marketing directive celebrates the role of the ICE exhibitors and visitors in fuelling growth, creativity and innovation across the industry.
Clarion Gaming Managing Director, Stuart Hunter, explains more: "Every defining game, every gaming innovation and every adaptation of new technology has been shown at ICE and whether it's planting the seeds of innovation, pollinating ideas or cultivating connections, Growing the Power of Play encapsulates what the ICE experience is all about."
The ICE Gaming conference was routinely held in London before moving on to its current home at Fira Gran Via, a large contemporary conference venue just outside the centre of Barcelona.
That 2025 edition, in tandem with co-located sister event, the iGB Affiliate conference, attracted a total of 59,101 unique attendees - according to Clarion, the upcoming event is tracking 10% above this figure.
Hunter also commented on this data, saying: "We are proud that the phenomenal attendance figures for ICE Barcelona are independently verified, in the process providing a level of transparency that's rare in the gaming trade show space. "
Fira Gran Via has a gross exhibition area of 240,000 square metres
