Boyd Gaming has formed a new exclusive strategic affiliation with Sonesta International Hotels Corporation to integrate the operator’s commercial portfolio into Sonesta’s distribution platform and help expand its consumer base.
"Boyd's nationwide portfolio of casino entertainment destinations is built upon over 50 years of best-in-class guest service, strong customer relationships and best-in-market amenities,” Boyd Gaming President & CEO Keith Smith said.
"Our exclusive affiliation with Sonesta provides a compelling opportunity to broaden our customer base across the country by introducing Sonesta users to Boyd's unique brand of hospitality and entertainment."
The initial phase of the collaboration will include the launch of the Boyd Collection, which will allow Sonesta customers to receive direct access to the operator’s US portfolio of casino-resort properties.
Boyd Gaming and Sonesta also plan to further expand their exclusive partnership to include an enhanced development pipeline – such as hard-brand conversions and new-build hotel projects – and linked loyalty programs between their respective portfolios.
Sonesta Co-CEO Keith Pierce also spoke on the new collaboration, having said, "This affiliation represents an exciting next step in Sonesta's asset-right, franchise-focused growth strategy.
"By aligning with Boyd, we are creating meaningful new ways to serve our guests and expand our distribution reach in markets where travelers are seeking full-service resort hospitality entertainment and casino gaming experiences."

Boyd Gaming’s net income for Q3 2026 decreased by 91.3% to $124.9m, although the fall is mainly due in part to the prior year figure having been affected by the operator’s sale of its remaining shares in FanDuel to Flutter Entertainment.
