The Philippine Amusement and Gaming Corporation (PAGCOR) has announced the return of its nationwide linked bingo event, scheduled to take place on March 29 across multiple Casino Filipino properties.
The regulator confirmed that the “PHP1m for PHP2m Nationwide Linked Bingo Games” will offer a total prize pool of PHP2.9m ($52,000), with winnings awarded tax-free.
The event will be hosted by Casino Filipino Angeles and played simultaneously at participating Casino Filipino sites in Bacolod, Cebu, Fuente, Grand Regal, Ilocos Norte, Iloilo, Mactan, Olongapo and Tagaytay.
According to PAGCOR, the format links bingo halls across the country, allowing players at each location to take part in the same games at the same time. The regulator said the initiative forms part of its efforts to deliver gaming activities that are managed within its regulatory framework.
Players will pay PHP1,000 ($17.90) per ticket to participate in the event. Each ticket provides four bingo cards for every game and is valid across a total of 10 games during the session.
The prize structure allocates PHP100,000 for each of the first nine rounds. The final game carries a guaranteed jackpot of PHP2m, bringing the total prize pool to PHP2.9m.
PAGCOR said the event will connect players across the Philippines, with Casino Filipino properties located across Luzon, the Visayas and Mindanao participating in the same linked bingo session.
Casino Filipino venues operate under PAGCOR’s direct management and form part of the regulator’s land-based gaming network. These properties host a range of gaming activities, including table games, electronic gaming machines and bingo events.
The regulator has periodically organised linked bingo sessions as part of its land-based entertainment offering across its casino network.
Earlier this year, PAGCOR announced financial support for the Philippine Women’s National Football Team ahead of the AFC Women’s Asian Cup, allocating PHP5m through the Philippine Football Federation to support training camps and international friendly matches.
The tournament runs from March 1 to March 21 in Australia and serves as part of the qualification pathway for the 2027 FIFA Women’s World Cup.
Participants will receive four bingo cards per game under the event’s ticket structure
