The National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) will begin utilizing the ProhiBet solution designed by Integrity Compliance 360 (IC360) to monitor officials who are set to call championship games across multiple Division I sports.
The NCAA’s adoption of ProhiBet was said to mark a “critical action” in the Association’s mission to uphold fairness across its collegiate competitions and will be used “specifically” for game officials even with athletes and league personnel also banned from placing bets.
“Implementing ProhiBet is a major step in increasing integrity protections for college sports,” NCAA Managing Director of Enforcement Mark Hicks said.
“This platform adds another layer to the NCAA’s robust integrity monitoring program as we work to keep competition integrity and student-athlete well-being paramount in a rapidly evolving sports betting environment.”
According to IC360, the ProhiBet solution provides the NCAA with a “proactive and confidential” monitoring tool “designed to meet the unique compliance challenges presented by the rapidly expanding legal sports betting market.”
“We’re thrilled to welcome the NCAA to the ProhiBet network and are honored to help protect the integrity of these iconic Division I championships,” IC360 Co-CEO Scott Sadin said.
“This collaboration sets a new industry benchmark and reinforces the importance of proactive deterrence and detection in keeping collegiate athletics fair.”
Sports featured within the upcoming Division I championships include baseball, softball and the Men’s and Women’s March Madness college basketball tournaments.
IC360 also extended its collaboration with the PGA Tour on January 14 to integrate the ProhiBet solution, helping to “proactively protect” the fairness of competition and compliance across the golf ecosystem.
The ProhiBet platform will look to assist the PGA Tour in ensuring players, caddies, officials and administrative staff remain compliant with regulations prohibiting them from engaging in wagering or trading activities.
Major League Table Tennis began offering regulated sports wagering for the 2025-2026 season following a new partnership formed with IC360 and Alt Sports Data on December 22
