The World Series of Poker (WSOP) mobile application has introduced its first-ever blackjack game mode, featuring the Power Power Jackpot main side bet and a new in-game blackjack dealer character, Sofia.
Power Power Jackpot pays out based on a three-card poker hand, stemming from the player’s first two cards and the dealer’s upcard while also integrating consensus poker hand rankings into the offering.
Prior to the new blackjack integration on March 11, the World Series of Poker mobile game included Texas hold’em, Omaha, multiple poker games and daily tournaments, while currently being operated by Playtika.
World Series of Poker GM Guy Ceder spoke on the new offering, having said, "Blackjack is one of the most recognised casino games globally and we're excited to bring it to our players as another way to enjoy the WSOP experience.
“We're always looking for ways to expand the entertainment value of the game and respond to what our players want to see in the app. With Poker Power Jackpot as the main side bet and the introduction of Sofia as the dealer, this mode combines traditional blackjack with elements of poker, offering players a fresh and high-engagement experience."
On December 1, Playtika unveiled a new collaboration with the NFL, which introduced themed features from the professional football league within the World Series of Poker mobile application.
Users gained access to limited NFL-themed features within the application, including 32 team-inspired cards which form an NFL Album and missions to earn special in-game currency.
Playtika also uploaded new NFL-themed avatars and daily challenges for players to use, as completing all four NFL puzzles within the application unlocked an ultimate grand prize.
World Poker Tour and Creator Television announced the launch of the inaugural Creator Poker Championship in October 2025, a joint production bringing together online creators for a live tournament in Las Vegas
