Genius Sports, a sports data and technology supplier, has expanded its official data partnership with Svensk Elitfotboll (SEF), the governing body for Sweden’s top two football divisions, to include official low-latency video content for its BetVision platform.

Through its existing agreement with the European Leagues, Genius Sports holds rights to capture and commercialise official data from Allsvenskan and Superettan for licensed sportsbooks globally.

The expanded arrangement with SEF adds access to official streaming content, which will be integrated into BetVision alongside data-driven betting functionality.

BetVision combines live streams with integrated betslips, AI-powered player statistics and micro-markets within a single interface.

Genius Sports said the addition of Swedish football content would extend its offering across European competitions, which already includes Serie A, Ligue 1, Brasileirão Série A, Eredivisie, Süper Lig and UEFA Champions League qualifiers.

The 2026 Allsvenskan season begins on 4 April and runs through November, providing sportsbooks with summer football inventory alongside the upcoming World Cup cycle.

Genius Sports Chief Partnerships Officer, Steven Burton, said: “Our partnership with Swedish football is an important addition to our European football offering while helping to connect its competitions with new audiences worldwide.”

Burton added: “The ability to combine highly accurate official data with live video streaming within BetVision creates an unparalleled value proposition for our global sportsbook network.”

SEF General Secretary, Henrik Berggren, said: “Securing a partner that can manage both our data and betting video streaming rights with such technical expertise is vital for our future growth.”

Berggren added: “This partnership with Genius Sports provides the long-term stability and global reach we have been seeking.”

The agreement follows a strategic review of SEF’s international data and video rights conducted with advisor Commercial Sports Media.

In February 2026, Genius Sports partnered with NBC Sports Regional Networks to launch an augmented advertising platform across NBA broadcasts, extending its network to more than 600 games and supporting new in-game sponsorship formats powered by its AI-driven data systems.
