Expanse Studios, a subsidiary of Meridian Holdings, has signed a strategic partnership with Stake to bring its iGaming content to the operator’s gaming sites around the world.
Under the agreement, Expanse Studios will integrate a selection of its casino titles into Stake’s online casino ecosystem.
The deal will cover more than 70 proprietary titles, including some of its top performing games such as ‘Super Heli,’ ‘Wild Icy Fruits’ and ‘VASO Psycho.’
Expanse’s mobile-first portfolio includes crash games and slots – it already works with more than 1300 operators across five continents, and this deal will only expand its global reach even further.
The studio is part of Meridian Holdings, which operates a number of B2B gaming technology and content businesses alongside consumer-facing betting platforms.
Its principal B2C division is its online sportsbook and casino platform Meridianbet Group – in fact, until March 2026, the parent company was known as Golden Matrix Group, before a rebrand saw it take on the moniker of its B2C brand.
The deal with Stake represents another step in its expansion strategy, giving the studio access to a large international player base through one of the industry’s most widely recognised crypto-led casino brands.
Stake itself has built its high-profile reputation on its sometimes controversial (see: Drake) partnerships with influencers and celebrities, as well as some notable sporting sponsorship agreements, such as those with Everton and Watford football clubs.
Both Expanse Studios and Stake were founded in the same year, 2017
