Betsson has announced a new partnership with Iraklis FC, becoming the club's official sponsor for the 2025-26 football season.

The collaboration marks Betsson's latest expansion into Greek football, following its previous sponsorship of the Betsson Greek Cup and OFI Crete.

Under the agreement, the Betsson logo will appear on the back of Iraklis' shirts throughout the upcoming campaign. The partnership coincides with an important period for the Thessaloniki-based club, which is targeting promotion from the Super League 2 to Greece's top division.

Founded in 1908, Iraklis is regarded as one of the country's oldest football institutions and has maintained a reputation for its sporting tradition and strong fan culture.

The club's management said the sponsorship represents an opportunity to strengthen both on-pitch ambitions and community engagement.

Betsson Greece Managing Director Thanos Marinos said: "We are truly delighted to become the official sponsor of this historic club. With more than a hundred years of history, the team embodies values that perfectly align with our own philosophy, passion, integrity, and love for football."

In Greece, Betsson's involvement in the domestic football landscape has grown since the launch of its local operations in 2021, while similar partnerships in Italy and Latin America have helped broaden its international brand presence.

The sponsorship with Iraklis FC aligns with Betsson's wider strategic focus on supporting local sports and community initiatives. It follows the company's sponsorship of the Betsson Greek Cup, launched to promote competitive balance within Greek football.

Betsson said it would continue to develop long-term partnerships with clubs and organisations that share its values of excellence, fair play and community engagement.

Earlier this month, Betsson reported a 6% year-on-year revenue increase to €295.8m ($343.7m) for Q3 2025, with locally regulated markets now contributing 64% of group revenue
