The Nevada Gaming Control Board (NGCB) has reported the state’s total gaming activity for February 2026, as revenue climbed 1.5% for a total of $1.2bn during the monthly period, assisted by 0.9% growth from the Las Vegas Strip to $696.3m. 

Clark County as a whole witnessed a 0.7% increase in total gaming revenue for February 2026 to nearly $1.1bn, despite Downtown Las Vegas gaming revenue falling 4.2% year-over-year to $69.8m.

Which areas of Clark County accounted for the most revenue

Revenue from North Las Vegas gaming operations totaled $24.2m and increased 4.7%, while the Laughlin area drove $38.5m of revenue but fell 8.8%. Boulder Strip and Mesquite each managed to generate increases in gaming revenue during February 2026, rising 3.5% and 5.2%, respectively, to $77.3m and $17.4m. 

In Washoe County, gaming revenue during the monthly period climbed 7.1% for a total of $85.2m, driven by 7.7% growth in gaming revenue stemming from Reno, Nevada to $60.6m. 

The Sparks area in Washoe County accounted for $14.7m of gaming revenue and increased 8.3%, while North Lake Tahoe’s gaming revenue fell 21.3% to $1.4m, representing the largest year-over-year decrease for all areas in Nevada. 

South Lake Tahoe reported a February 2026 gaming revenue of $17.9m, equating to an increase of 1.5%. Elko County’s gaming revenue grew 7.7% to $33.6m, trailed by the Carson Valley area which accounted for just over $10.7m of revenue and increased 4.2%. 

The overall rise in Nevada gaming revenue during February 2026 was also driven by increases from both land-based slot machines and table games, which grew 1.7% and 1.1%, respectively, to $830.4m and $405.8m.

How Nevada's gaming revenue has performed during February since 2021

Baccarat accounted for the most revenue of any table game by a wide margin, increasing 44.4% from the prior year period to $127.6m. Blackjack followed with $109.5m of revenue for the monthly period and grew 5.3%, while craps generated an additional $39m of revenue and increased 1.6%. 

For retail slot machines, multidenomination slots were the only type to report an increase in revenue for February 2026, rising 10.7% to just over $658m. One cent machines reported $113.3m of revenue during February but fell 26.1%, while one dollar slot machine revenue decreased 11.4% to $34.5m. 

Mobile sports betting accounted for $29.6m of the state’s total gaming revenue during February 2026 and increased 28.9%, including a 46.2% rise in revenue generated from bets placed on the NBA to nearly $24.5m.
