Asia Pioneer Entertainment reported higher revenue and profit for the year ended December 31, 2025, with growth driven mainly by its electronic gaming equipment, or EGE, business in Macau.

The Hong Kong-listed gaming supplier posted revenue of HK$65.8m (US$8.42m), up 29.7% year-on-year, while net profit rose to HK$6.1m.

The group said EGE revenue reached HK$63.7m, up 31.3%. Within that segment, technical sales and distribution revenue rose 46.3% to HK$57.0m, while consultancy and technical services revenue fell 24.0% to HK$6.7m. The group recorded no repair services revenue during the year.

Gross profit for the EGE business increased to HK$29.0m from HK$22.9m, although gross margin narrowed to 45.6% from 47.3%. Group gross profit rose to HK$29.8m from HK$23.5m, while operating expenses increased 12.8% to HK$22.9m, which the supplier attributed mainly to higher staff costs and business travel expenses.

Asia Pioneer Entertainment also said its smart vending machine business generated HK$2.2m in revenue and HK$0.8m in gross profit in 2025. It had 63 vending machines installed in Macau at year end, with total capital expenditure on the business at HK$2.6m.

Asia Pioneer Entertainment Chairman and Executive Director, Allen Huie, said: “We are currently applying for distributor licenses in Abu Dhabi and Singapore to distribute our EGE products to casinos in these markets.”

Huie added: “To support these EGE sales initiatives, we have secured a HK$20 million credit facility with Macau’s Banco Nacional Ultramarino (BNU) bank to bolster our operations.”

The supplier linked its core-market performance to Macau, where full-year gross gaming revenue increased 9.1% to MOP247.4bn (US$30.9bn) and visitor arrivals reached 40.1 million in 2025. The board said it would not recommend a dividend for the year.

Earlier this month, Asia Pioneer Entertainment issued a positive profit alert, reporting that Asia Pioneer Entertainment expected 2025 net profit to rise about 100% to HK$7.5m and revenue to increase about 30% to HK$65.8m, based on preliminary unaudited management accounts.

The final annual results confirmed the revenue figure at HK$65.8m, while reported profit came in below the earlier estimate at HK$6.1m after audit.
