Seneca Resorts & Casinos has appointed Jim Domzalski as its new Chief Legal Officer and General Counsel, where he will oversee all legal functions and provide strategic counsel for Seneca Gaming Corporation’s Board of Directors, senior leadership and operational teams.
“Jim has been a trusted advisor to our senior management team and Board, and an exceptional member of the Seneca Resorts & Casinos team for the past two decades,” Seneca Resorts & Casinos President and CEO Kevin Nephew said.
“His in-depth knowledge and understanding of our operations, our industry and the complex landscape in which we operate make him a vital resource in everything we do.”
Domzalski originally joined Seneca Resorts & Casinos during 2006 and has progressed through multiple leadership roles such as Senior Corporate Counsel and Deputy General Counsel.
He has assisted the operator with “critical” legal and business challenges including transactions, projects and complex governance and regulatory issues.
Domzalski will also be tasked with overseeing Seneca Gaming Corporation’s risk management and compliance departments as part of his new role.

On March 2, Seneca Resorts & Casinos made four new appointments to its corporate leadership team as part of the operator’s Centers of Excellence organizational model, designed to identify operational efficiencies and appropriate consistencies across its retail properties.
Joanne Israel, who previously served as Seneca Niagara Resort & Casino GM, was appointed as Chief Strategy Officer after originally joining Seneca Resorts & Casinos in 2011.
Former Seneca Allegany Resort & Casino GM Linda Hitchcock now serves as SVP of Food & Beverage for Seneca Resorts & Casinos, while Chama Darcy was named Corporate VP of Food & Beverage.
Peter Maybee saw his VP of Corporate Security role expanded to include oversight of security strategy at each of the operator’s three retail properties, with all four hires currently enrolled as Seneca Nation members.
