Coushatta Casino Resort in Kinder, Louisiana has begun accepting reservations for its new Legacy Tower, set to feature 204 guest rooms and serve as the “centerpiece” of the property’s ongoing multi-year transformation.
"This is one of the most significant expansions in the history of Coushatta," Coushatta Casino Resort GM Nate Tanner said.
"Legacy Tower allows us to grow, create jobs and deliver a higher-end experience while continuing to invest in the long-term future of the Coushatta Tribe."
Coushatta Casino Resort is owned and operated by the Coushatta Tribe of Louisiana and currently represents the state’s largest casino resort.
While the Legacy Tower will officially open on May 18, the property has planned a grand opening ceremony on May 15, set to feature Tribal Chairman David Sickey, members of the Tribal Council, casino management, development partners and local dignitaries.
Coushatta Casino Resort will also host a $300,000 legacy and luxury giveaway featuring car and cash prizes for attendees, as well as a ribbon cutting ceremony, special dance performances and a tour of the facility.
Also featuring the largest gaming floor in the Lake Charles area, Coushatta Casino Resort offers close to 2,000 slot and table games to casino players, including live poker, bingo and sports betting.
Once completed, the new hotel tower will expand Coushatta Casino Resort’s total inventory to over 1,000 guest rooms and provide additional hospitality and operations positions for Louisiana residents.
Coushatta Casino Resort stated the expansion will also create new jobs, increase tourism and support local businesses across southwest Louisiana and east Texas.
Coushatta Casino Resort appointed Britton Pruett as its new Director of Food & Beverage on March 3, where she will oversee all restaurant, bar, banquet and beverage operations for the property
