Everi, now an International Game Technology (IGT) brand, has expanded upon its previously formed partnership with the Vegas Golden Knights NHL franchise to develop a mobile wallet for users of the team's application, which first debuted in October 2024.

Through VGKPay, users will be able to keep credit and debit cards on file within the application and earn rewards from purchases through the Fortress Funds loyalty program. The mobile wallet is presented by America First Credit Union and acts as a centralized payment system for concession and merchandise stands at T-Mobile and City National Arena.

"Several enhancements have been introduced to our mobile app, highlighted by the all-new VGKPay feature," Golden Knights President of Business Operations John Penhollow said.

"With VGKPay, Golden Knights fans will receive discounts, earn valuable rewards and enjoy a faster and more convenient checkout process throughout T-Mobile Arena and The Arsenal. This initiative aligns with our commitment to improving and evolving the overall guest experience while recognizing and rewarding our most loyal fans."

The Golden Knights and Everi originally formed its partnership on October 2, 2024, resulting in the launch of the NHL franchise's first mobile application for fans and T-Mobile Arena attendees.

The new features will be made available prior to the franchise's upcoming matchup with the Detroit Red Wings on November 4, set to be played from the Golden Knights home arena.

"Everi and the Vegas Golden Knights remain dedicated to engaging fans by seamlessly delivering bespoke opportunities to those at T-Mobile Arena and anyone watching games from home. Mobile app users expect that world-class in-arena experience to extend to their personal devices, wherever they are," IGT FinTech CEO Darren Simmons said.

Golden Knights fans will also be able to track their order history and rewards balance through VGKPay as well as bundle discounts in the mobile wallet's scan and pay feature.
