Betway has formed a new partnership with The Jockey Club, which will see the operator sponsor 16 raceday events across the 2026 calendar, including competitions at Newmarket, Haydock Park and Market Rasen.
“Betway sponsors some of the largest sporting events and teams globally, but it’s great to see British racing make a welcome return to our portfolio. We were one of the largest supporters of racing in the last decade, with thousands of races carrying our name from 2015 to the Champion Chase at Cheltenham in 2024,” Betway PR Manager Lewis Knowles said.
“This deal is a fantastic opportunity to align our brand with this wonderful sport once again. We have had great success working alongside The Jockey Club in the past, and everybody at Betway is thrilled to be resurrecting that partnership for 2026.”
The operator will also serve as the official fixed odds betting partner for The Debenhams July Festival at Newmarket, choosing to renew its previous collaborations with The Jockey Club and realign the brand with British racing.
Many of the races now under the Betway brand were associated with bet365 before the operator decided to conclude its sponsorship agreements in March due to “tough commercial decisions.”
The Jockey Club Betting Partnerships Manager Dan Glavin also spoke on the collaboration, having said, “It is fantastic news that Betway is renewing its association with The Jockey Club via this exciting new partnership. The Betway Craven Meeting at Newmarket is when the new Flat turf season really hits its stride and is the perfect time to get the partnership underway.
“In addition to also becoming the fixed odds betting partner of the prestigious Debenhams July Festival at Newmarket, Betway will also have its name associated with a significant number of high-class racedays right the way through to the end of the year. Our thanks go to all the team at Betway and we look forward to working closely alongside them throughout 2026.”
Betway will also serve as the title sponsor of the upcoming Craven Meeting, scheduled to run from 15 April to 17 April.
The Super Group subsidiary was also announced as the new and first-ever Official Betting Operator of Formula One on 5 March, part of a new collaboration which is set to span multiple seasons.
TaDa Gaming secured its entry into the South African regulated market through Betway on 20 March, as players are now able to access titles such as Crazy 777, Coin Tree and the Fortune Gems series
