SCCG Management has appointed Advisory Board member Michael Silberling as the organization’s new Chairman, where he will provide strategic guidance and help support partnership development and long-term growth initiatives.
Silberling currently serves as CEO of Metropolitan Gaming, overseeing strategic portfolio optimization, international market focus and brand repositioning initiatives.
Prior to his role with Metropolitan Gaming, Silberling also served in executive positions with Mohegan Gaming, Affinity Gaming, Caesars Entertainment and Harrah’s Entertainment, spanning a tenure of over 20 years in the industry.
SCCG Management Founder and CEO Stephen Crystal spoke on the new appointment, having said, “Michael is a highly respected global leader whose experience across international gaming markets, operations and strategic transactions makes him an exceptional addition to SCCG.”
As SCCG Management Chairman, Silberling will work closely with the organization’s leadership and global partner network, offering insights for international market expansion, mergers & acquisitions and emerging opportunities across regulated markets.
During his tenure with Mohegan Gaming, Silberling oversaw the operator’s property portfolio, including Mohegan Sun in Connecticut, Resorts Casino Hotel in Atlantic City and international assets in Canada.
The appointment comes during a busy period for SCCG Management, having formed new partnerships with Playphoria and IntualityAI on April 8 and 9, respectively.
The American Football League Europe (AFLE) also announced a new partnership with SCCG Management, aimed at developing a gaming and fan engagement framework ahead of its inaugural season.
As part of the agreement, Crystal will take on the role of SVP of Gaming for the league, overseeing betting-related business development and commercial partnerships.
AFLE, a newly established professional American football competition, will operate across multiple European markets, including Germany, Austria, Poland, Switzerland, France, Italy and the UK.
