The Moroccan National Lottery Management Company (SGLN) has earned the Responsible Gaming certification from European Lotteries (EL) for the fifth consecutive time.
It has also achieved the highest Level 4 certification under the Responsible Gaming standards set by the World Lottery Association (WLA).
SGLN is the National Lottery and the only operator authorised by the State to offer lottery games.
In an official statement, SGLN said: “This renewal confirms the National Lottery’s continued commitment to the highest European standards in responsible gaming, player protection, governance and sustainability.
“Obtaining these certifications five times in a row reflects a structured approach, embedded over time and fully integrated into the company’s strategy.”
The dual EL and WLA Responsible Gaming certification is awarded following a rigorous independent audit process.
It is based on strict criteria covering prevention, network training, responsible communication, player protection tools and the continuous improvement of practices.
The operator continuously prioritises player protection. Earlier this month, it warned the public about a growing number of fraudulent advertisements circulating online and on social media.
These ads misused the name and associated lottery brands to promote illegal gambling platforms.
In December last year, the operator launched a campaign titled “We all benefit from solidarity,” promoting the idea that success is built through collective effort.
Through an emotional film, it emphasised solidarity as a core value in Moroccan society.
The campaign highlighted the Lottery’s broader role in providing a safe and responsible gaming environment while directing 100% of its proceeds towards social causes.
The funds generated by SGLN are redistributed to associations and foundations working in areas such as culture, sport and social and solidarity development
