Greentube has completed the acquisition of Kingsbet CZ, entering the country’s B2C online market. The transaction, which is subject to regulatory approval, forms part of the company’s broader expansion across regulated European jurisdictions.
The Czech Republic’s gambling market reached CZK68bn ($2.9bn) in 2025, according to the Ministry of Finance, with online accounting for 59.2% of total GGR, a level of maturity Greentube identified as a key driver behind the deal.
Greentube’s CCO, Ronald van den Brink said: “Entering the Czech market is a natural step in our long-term growth strategy. The Czech Republic stands among the most advanced and well-regulated gaming markets in Europe. By joining forces with Kingsbet, we are gaining a strong local team that will support our expansion.”
Through the acquisition, Greentube gains access to Kingsbet’s operational infrastructure and local market expertise, which it views as critical to scaling in the jurisdiction. The deal continues a pattern of targeting established operators in regulated markets to accelerate entry.
David Vaněk, CEO of Kingsbet, added: “We are excited to join the Greentube group. This partnership brings us growth and investment opportunities, and access to advanced technology and globally renowned game studios. It will allow us to deliver an even stronger player experience and continue growing in the Czech Republic.”
