Banijay Group has reported its year-to-date (YTD) financial results including revenue, adjusted EBITDA and net income, with revenue having grown 3.2% year-on-year for a total of €3.2bn (US$3.7bn).
The operator's adjusted EBITDA throughout the first nine months of 2025 was reported to be €597.1m, which equates to an increase of 9.3%, while adjusted net income for the period rose 9.3% to €271.2m.
"Banijay Group delivered solid growth and strong performance during the first nine months of 2025 across all activities, underscoring the strength of our diversified model," Banijay Group CEO François Riahi said.
"In Entertainment & Live, we continued to benefit from a robust pipeline of scripted content, as well as strong momentum in live experiences, which is building as a key growth driver for the years to come. In Gaming, our commercial development remained very dynamic, despite adverse sports results in September 2025 and a high comparison base following last year's major international sporting events calendar."
Revenue from the operator's Banijay Entertainment & Live vertical increased 1.7% from the prior year period to nearly €2.1bn.
The sector generated €1.6bn and €232.9m from production and distribution operations for YTD 2025, respectively, representing decreases of 1.2% and 0.6%. Live experiences & other increased YTD2025 revenue by 14.1%, however, for a total of €247.9m.
For Banijay Gaming, total revenue increased 8.7% year-on-year to just over €1.1bn, primarily driven by sportsbook operations which accounted for €857m and grew 5.3%. Casino and poker operations produced an additional €179.1m and €76.2m of revenue for YTD2025, respectively, equating to increases of 16.4% and 32.7%.
The operator's YTD2025 adjusted EBITDA for both verticals also increased from the prior year period, as Banijay Entertainment & Live grew 5.4% to €303.1m, while Banijay Gaming increased its adjusted EBITDA by 13.3% for a total of €300.7m.
Despite an increase in total operating expenses throughout the first nine months of 2025 of 2.2% to €2.6bn, Banijay Group still managed to generate operating income growth of 38.6% to €381.1m.
In July 2025, Banijay Group formed new partnerships with French sporting leagues such as Ligue Nationale de Rugby, the French Volleyball Federation, the French Handball Federation and the Arkema Première Ligue to enhance audience engagement and expand operations.
The operator reiterated its full-year 2025 guidance for both revenue and adjusted EBITDA, stating both figures will be adjusted to reflect "adverse sports results" for Banijay Gaming and the "postponement of deliveries" for Bonijay Entertainment & Live.
