This comes at a time when Dransfields is making several leadership changes

Peter Davies has stepped down from his role as Managing Director at Inspired Entertainment and has announced he will be joining Dransfields on 18 May.

Davies first joined Inspired in October 2019 and has held his position of Managing Director for almost seven years.

Prior to this, he held several similar roles across the gaming industry.

These include joining Gamestec as a Managing Director in 2017, Playnation as a Managing Director in 2015 and Games Media as a Director of Business between 2003 and 2008.

On his LinkedIn, Davies said: “Today marks my last day with Inspired Entertainment Inc after 6+ eventful years. It’s been an honour and a privilege to have worked with an incredible group of people during this time.

“I think we’ve seen it all during my tenure - acquisition, integration, covid, rebuild, divestment and restructure. It’s been hell of a ride!

“There are too many names to list personally but to everyone I’ve worked with and to our fantastic customers, partners and suppliers, thank you for everything. This industry is made up of wonderful people and businesses and I now look forward very much to taking up my new role with Dransfields on May 18th.”

At Dransfields, Peter Davies will join as its new Managing Director as the company undergoes several leadership changes.

After three decades of service, the current Managing Director, Chris Haley, will step into the role of Chairman, effective this month.

Haley will succeed Robert Dransfield, who is retiring.

On his move, Davies said: "Dransfields are a company I have long admired. From my early career selling gaming machines to them and subsequently watching the quiet, understated and impressive growth of the company over the prevailing years.

"This is testament to Chris and Robert’s leadership and I feel honoured to be appointed to lead the company into its next chapter. The company clearly puts great value on its history, people, customers and partners and I fully intend to nurture this ‘people first’ approach whilst evolving the business where it makes sense to.

"I’m delighted Chris is stepping up to take on the Group Chairman role and I look forward to supporting him. I am also very pleased to be able to work closely with Quentin Stott and the team at Reflex as they continue to develop market leading technology and games."
