French operator Partouche is set to open what it describes as the largest gaming club in Paris on 12 May with the launch of its new venue near the Arc de Triomphe.
The venue spans 5,000 m² across four floors and features around 100 gaming tables, including 70 dedicated to poker.
The focus is on poker as the main offering, while still providing a broad selection to appeal to an international audience.
Operations will be managed by TexaPoker, a leading name in France’s live poker circuit. The club will host three daily tournaments covering all buy-in levels, a rare schedule in Paris that aligns it with international standards.
Several large poker events are already planned, including the Unibet Open from 16 to 25 May 2026, with the WSOP Circuit in September as the main highlight, potentially putting the club on the European map immediately. Meanwhile, 45 dealers were recruited and trained specifically for the launch.
Partouche plans a comprehensive experience with an Italian-inspired restaurant and continuous snacking areas on each floor. The club is positioned as a hybrid venue, combining gaming with a high-end nightlife destination.
The scale of the property and its central location are expected to provide key competitive advantages as the operator looks to strengthen its position within Paris’ regulated gaming sector.
In February, the French Constitutional Council confirmed the permanent status of Parisian gaming clubs following years of regulatory uncertainty, providing a long-term legal certainty for the market.
The 2017 gambling law originally established Parisian gaming clubs as a pilot scheme, with the sector operating for almost nine years under a temporary legal framework that required repeated renewals.
In its 2024–2026 strategic plan, the French regulator ANJ has made reducing the number of problem gamblers a central regulatory priority
