Century Casinos has promoted Lyle Randolph to US EVP of Operations, as the 30+ year gaming executive will now oversee each of the operator’s seven retail casino properties, which combine to offer 4,701 slot machines, 93 table games and 2,127 hotel rooms.

Prior to his promotion to the US EVP of Operations title, Randolph served as VP of Operations for Century Casinos’ properties in Missouri, overseeing more than $80m in combined capital development projects and adjusted EBITDA growth of over 70%.

Randolph’s appointment will officially go into effect on May 15, having originally started with the operator as GM of Century Casino & Hotel Caruthersville and Cape Girardeau. 

Century Casinos reported its financial results for the first quarter of 2026 on May 8, managing to set a new quarterly record in net operating revenue with $137.2m, representing an increase of 5%. 

The operator also reported a net loss of $16.5m, marking an improvement of 20% from the prior year period.

Earning from operations for Q1 2026 totaled $11.8m, equating to growth of 65%. Century Casinos’ adjusted EBITDAR increased 24% to just over $24.9m, led by the US Midwest region which reported an adjusted EBITDAR rise of 16% to $15.6m.

The US East and West segments reported adjusted EBITDAR losses of $5.1m and $3.8m, respectively, having improved the figures by 17% and 14%. Canada operations accounted for $548,000 of adjusted EBITDAR and grew 998%, while Century Casinos’ Poland segment witnessed a loss of $307,000 and fell 86%.

Each of the operator’s segments were able to report increases in net operating revenue, however, led by the US Midwest which recorded $41.8m and rose 5%. The US East region managed to grow revenue by 5% as well to $38.9m, while operations in the West accounted for $17.1m and increased 4%. 

Canada and Poland generated respective net operating revenues of $18.3m and $21.1m, representing increases of 11% and 2%.
