Yggdrasil has broadened its reach in Serbia after securing a new partnership with Merkur, making its full library of slot titles available on the operator's MerkurXtip platform.

The integration, delivered through Yggdrasil's existing partnership with Bragg Gaming, includes both proprietary titles and games developed under the YGG Masters programme.

Players in the country will now be able to access recent releases such as MexoMax 2 and Bob Marlin Goes Splashing, alongside long-running series including Vikings Go Berzerk and other established titles from partner studios.

The partnership extends Merkur's local portfolio and forms part of Yggdrasil's wider effort to build distribution across regulated European jurisdictions.

Jose Kadala, CCO at Yggdrasil, said: "We're excited to expand our presence in Serbia through a major partnership with Merkur. We are confident that it will be a roaring success as we deliver both our proven core titles and innovative YGG Masters content to players."

Nenad Aleksić, Head of Online Casino at Merkur, added: "Yggdrasil's reputation for creating engaging, high-quality gaming content made them an ideal partner for expanding our offering."

The Serbian market has seen increased supplier activity over the past year as operators continue to diversify their content portfolios ahead of regulatory developments across the wider Balkan region.

Yggdrasil has pursued a partnership-led expansion model, using existing aggregation channels to accelerate delivery to operators in emerging and established EU markets.

Merkur's online casino brand continues to prioritise slot expansion in regulated territories, supported by its broader gaming and retail presence in Central and Eastern Europe.
