DigiPlus Interactive is marking the fourth anniversary of BingoPlus, its flagship digital bingo brand, as the operator continues to reposition its business around online gaming, localized content and omnichannel player access.
BingoPlus was launched in January 2022 after DigiPlus, formerly Leisure and Resorts World Corp, shifted from its legacy retail bingo model toward livestreamed digital gaming.
The move came after the pandemic disrupted venue-based gaming and accelerated demand for mobile entertainment in the Philippines.
The platform now includes bingo, card games, arcade products, slots and localized “Perya” titles, according to DigiPlus. Its Bingo Mega product remains the brand’s main livestreamed bingo format, while Pinoy Drop Ball has been positioned as part of the operator’s expansion into digital versions of Filipino carnival-style games.
DigiPlus said BingoPlus now serves tens of millions of users and is supported by more than 130 physical sites nationwide, which continue to provide traditional bingo play, payment support and customer service touchpoints.
The anniversary comes during a more complex period for Philippine online gaming. PAGCOR said Philippine gaming GGR reached Php396.14bn ($6.9bn) in 2025, with online and electronic gaming helping offset weaker land-based casino earnings.
However, the sector has also faced tighter oversight following the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas’ 2025 order requiring e-wallet providers to remove in-app links to online gambling platforms. The measure was introduced amid legislative and regulatory scrutiny over online gambling access.
DigiPlus has also expanded its responsible gaming measures, including time controls, spend and loss limits, an educational campaign and a player wallet surety bond program.
DigiPlus Chairman Eusebio H. Tanco said: “The BingoPlus transformation story was a leap of faith, but it was always driven by our strong commitment to our customers.”
BingoPlus Night will take place on May 19 and will be streamed through the BingoPlus website, app and official social channels.
DigiPlus’ anniversary update follows its Q1 results, when net income fell 33% to Php2.8bn and revenue declined 25% to Php17.2bn, with the operator citing softer activity after e-wallet delinking.
BingoPlus Night will also be broadcast on GTV on May 22 and GMA on May 23
