Boldt secured a 20-year casino operating contract in Buenos Aires Province
The agreement covers casinos in Mar del Plata, Tandil and Miramar
The contract includes slot operations, system controls and venue upgrades

The Buenos Aires Province Lottery and Casino Institute (IPLyC) has awarded Boldt the comprehensive operating contract for the Hermitage Casino in Mar del Plata, as well as casinos in Tandil and Miramar, for a 20-year period extending to 2046.

The agreement was formalised through Resolution 677/2026, which approved the outcome of Public Tender No. 2/2025. The contract covers the provision and maintenance of slot machines, online control systems, venue remodelling works and complementary gaming-related services across the three properties.

Boldt competed against Casino de Victoria during the tender process.

Following technical and financial evaluations, the pre-award committee granted Boldt the highest overall score for all venues included in the bidding process.

Under the terms of the agreement, Boldt will receive 58% of monthly slot machine profits at the Hermitage Casino in Mar del Plata, 59% at Tandil Casino and 59.8% at Miramar Casino.

The resolution also approved the company’s submitted security plans and stated that future agreements will define compensation linked to additional services, including promotions, player loyalty programmes and complimentary offerings.

Provincial authorities said the administrative process complied with all legal and technical requirements established within the tender specifications.

According to the resolution, no objections were filed by participating companies after the final decision was communicated.

The award follows several years of temporary contract extensions granted to Boldt while the province worked to complete a formal tender process.

Earlier extensions had drawn scrutiny from oversight bodies, which urged authorities to finalise the bidding procedure after repeated renewals dating back to 2019.
