Lebom, a football prediction app enabling users to create private leagues, predict match outcomes and compete for cash prizes, has reported 73% year-on-year user growth since the start of the 2025/26 Premier League season, having surpassed 88,000 active users on the platform.
Since the 2025/26 season first began on 15 August, Lebom has added 32,000 new players to its predictions betting platform, and will begin a new funding round through Republic to help accelerate product innovation and platform expansion.
"We've had an incredible start to the season - it's fantastic to see so many players buy into our idea of betting being about community and banter with mates rather than chasing losses against the traditional bookmakers," Lebom Co-Founder and CEO Chris Ricketts said.
"The growth we've seen over the past few seasons proves to us that fans want a change - something fun, social, community driven and more responsible. Our latest funding round will enable us to scale Lebom further, enhance the product and expand our footprint on the global stage as we look to build on the rapid success we've seen so far."
Lebom stated the new funding round will also enable the platform to introduce additional features for its growing consumer base, as well as support its long-term mission of becoming the "global home" for social betting.
In 2025, the operator unveiled its Lebom Universe feature, offering a global format to users with a fixed £2 entry fee and larger shared prize pools.
In addition to the growth in users witnessed over the first 10 weeks of the 2025/26 Premier League season, Lebom also reported an 87% retention rate from its consumers and a total of £4.6m exchanged on the platform to date.
Former footballer John Terry joined Lebom as an investor and brand ambassador on 12 August to assist in product development and provide weekly Premier League score predictions throughout the season
