IGT has announced the appointment of Patrick Ramsey to the Board of Directors of its parent company, Voyager TopCo.

Indeed, Ramsey has years of experience in gaming operations, technology and product strategy. He previously served as CEO for Multimedia Games (MGAM), as well as operator as a formal advisor to the CEO and Board Member at Betr and a Lead US Director for Aristocrat. Currently, he also sits as a Board Member of Codere.

"Pat's broad industry perspective and deep understanding of the gaming ecosystem make him a valuable addition to the Voyager Board." said Daniel Cohen, Voyager TopCo Chairman.

"His experience across technology, operations, and market development will support the company as we continue delivering value to customers and expanding our global presence."

In addition to the new appointment, Ramsey also currently serves on the Board of Grupo Codere and is on the operating council of Arrow International. And during the course of his long career, he has advised and led multiple organisations through difficult periods.

"The IGT and Everi enterprise offers a powerful portfolio of gaming, digital, systems, and financial technology solutions with a strong culture of innovation and customer focus." said Ramsey.

"I look forward to working with the Board and leadership team to help accelerate growth opportunities and further strengthen the company's global market position."

Despite the news of this appointment and another in the form of Mark Wadley as incoming President of Land-based Gaming for IGT, the supplier will reduce its workforce by 700 employees, representing a 10% cut of its staff.
