IGT appoints Mark Wadley as incoming President of Land-Based Gaming
Role consolidates global product, commercial and operational functions
Move aligns with broader restructuring and efficiency initiatives

IGT has announced the appointment of Mark Wadley as Incoming President of Land-Based Gaming, pending the receipt of required regulatory approvals. The hire places one of the gaming industry's experienced commercial figures at the head of IGT's end-to-end land-based business.

Wadley joins from a senior role at Aristocrat, where he served as Chief Marketing Officer.

In his new position, he will oversee global sales, product management, field services, manufacturing, marketing, external communications and government relations, reporting directly to IGT CEO Hector Fernandez.

Fernandez described the appointment as a deliberate structural move, stating: “Mark is a proven leader with a deep understanding of how to connect product, customer insight and commercial execution to drive performance.

"As we continue to strengthen our Gaming business, bringing these capabilities together under one leader is a critical step in improving how we operate and deliver for our customers. Mark's experience will help us accelerate that progress."

Wadley himself added: "IGT has all the core elements of a winning gaming business, from differentiated content to global scale and long-standing customer relationships.

"The opportunity now is to operate with greater alignment and discipline, ensuring that how we develop, position and deliver our products translates more consistently into performance for our customers. That focus on execution will define the next phase of growth."

Wadley's career spans both the gaming and biotech industries, and IGT highlighted his track record of building high-performing teams and delivering growth in competitive markets.

The appointment comes at a significant moment for the supplier. IGT confirmed last month that it would reduce its global workforce by approximately 700 employees – around 10% of its staff – as part of structural changes following Apollo Global Management's $6.3bn acquisition of the business.

Fernandez, who officially assumed the CEO role in December 2025 having originally been appointed in December 2024 for the merged IGT and Everi entity, has said the restructuring is intended to streamline operations and position the company for future growth.
