Boyle Sports has joined the International Betting Integrity Association (IBIA), adding its retail and online sportsbook operations to the association’s global monitoring network.
Founded in Ireland in 1982, the operator holds licences in Ireland, Great Britain and Gibraltar and operates across both retail betting and online gaming. Its British remote licence covers bingo, casino, real-event betting, virtual-event betting and pool betting.
The agreement gives Boyle Sports access to IBIA’s Global Monitoring & Alert Platform, which uses customer account-level data from more than 90 operators and over 200 betting brands.
IBIA says the network monitors more than $300bn in annual sports betting turnover and over 1.5 million sporting events each year.
The announcement comes during a period of continued scrutiny around betting-related match manipulation.
IBIA recorded 70 suspicious betting alerts in Q1 2026 across 10 sports, with football, tennis and esports accounting for the largest share. Europe generated 20 alerts during the quarter, ahead of North America and Asia.
IBIA’s 2025 Sports Betting Integrity Report also pointed to enforcement outcomes from operator data, with 54 matches proven to have been corrupted and sanctions imposed on 24 players, teams and officials across five sports.
Boyle Sports Trading Director, David Burgin, said: “Joining IBIA reflects our commitment to maintaining a secure, transparent and well-regulated betting environment across our operations.”
IBIA CEO, Khalid Ali, said: “Collaboration between operators through IBIA plays a vital role in identifying, reporting and addressing suspicious betting activity.”
For Boyle Sports, the membership also sits alongside a wider repositioning of its UK and Ireland business. The operator announced a £100m ($127.4m) UK investment programme in 2025, including retail expansion plans, sportsbook technology upgrades and a front-of-shirt sponsorship agreement with West Ham United.
The business also relaunched its online casino product in 2025 while maintaining sponsorship agreements across horse racing, greyhound racing and darts.
The move reflects a broader industry trend towards intelligence-sharing between operators, regulators and sports governing bodies as betting integrity monitoring becomes increasingly important in regulated markets.
Membership of IBIA has expanded steadily in recent years, with operators seeking greater participation in account-based monitoring systems that can identify suspicious betting patterns across multiple jurisdictions.
Boyle Sports appointed former Rank Group Creative Director Mikael Gustavson as Creative Lead in December 2025, following brand changes linked to its UK retail investment programme and online casino relaunch.
IBIA’s Q1 2026 report recorded alerts across football, tennis, esports, table tennis, volleyball, handball and several other sports
