The Illinois Gaming Board has reported the state’s total casino revenue for May 2026, as commercial properties generated $192.8m during the monthly period, representing growth of 9.2%.
Rivers Casino accounted for the most revenue of any land-based gaming property in Illinois for May, reporting $48.7m for an increase of 7.2%. Wind Creek Illinois produced $21.2m of casino revenue and grew 13.8%.
Hard Rock Casino Rockford reported nearly $13.8m of casino revenue for May, having risen 3.3%. Grand Victoria Casino and Hollywood Casino Joliet generated respective May revenues of $13.1m and $13.2m, representing increases of 4.5% and 73.2%.

How have the state's commercial casinos performed since 2021?
Full House Resorts Illinois accounted for $12.7m of the state’s total casino revenue and increased 23.3%. Bally’s Chicago grew revenue 1.6% to $12.4m, while Harrah’s Joliet Casino & Hotel produced $10.6m and rose 4%.
Hollywood Casino Aurora and DraftKings at Casino Queen reported May revenues of $8.3m and $7.9m, respectively, representing decreases of 13.9% and 0.5%. Bally’s Quad Cities Casino & Hotel generated nearly $6.4m of revenue and grew 1.6%.
Par-A-Dice Hotel Casino and Harrah’s Metropolis Casino produced respective casino revenues of $5.9m and $5.5m, equating to increases of 3.5% and 2.3%. The Danville Development accounted for $4.3m of Illinois’ casino revenue and rose 16%, while Walker’s Bluff Casino Resort revenue increased 2.1% to $3.3m.

Capping off Illinois’ May 2026 results are Argosy Casino Alton and Fairmount Park, which produced $3.1m and $2.4m, respectively, representing a fall of 2.4% but an increase of 106.4% for Fairmount Park.
On May 18, DraftKings chose to shut down its retail sportsbook facility at Wrigley Field in Chicago, citing Illinois’ rising cost of operation and “high tax structure,” with the deadline to place in-person bets having been set for May 31.
The operator had originally debuted its land-based sportsbook facility during March 2024, representing the only venue attached to a sports stadium, arena or ballpark in Illinois.
