Racecourse Media Group (RMG) has been awarded an exclusive two-year distribution contract by the Bahrain Turf Club, set to cover 29 Bahrain fixtures including the International Trophy competition taking place on 14 November.
"We are delighted to extend our long-standing relationship with RMG, and look forward to working with them, and their partners, ARC, to enhance exposure and engagement with racing fans," Bahrain Turf Club Director of Racing & International Business Ed Veale said.
RMG will collaborate with long-time international partner Arena Racing Company (ARC) to distribute Bahrain content exclusively through the media group and ARC's established international joint venture GBI Racing.
The joint venture is currently broadcast in approximately 10,000 shops globally and via over 100 digital customers.
"We're thrilled to expand our partnership further by adding this distribution arrangement to our existing production, broadcast and advertising agreements," RMG CEO Nick Mills said.
"We look forward to working with our international partners, ARC, on increasing audiences and revenues for Bahrain Turf Club."
Eight horses will represent Britain, Ireland, France, the UAE and Bahrain as part of the 2025 Bahrain International Trophy, featuring a $1m show prize.
"At ARC we are thankful to RMG for the inclusion on this partnership as part of our GBI venture, and we are very excited to be a part of Bahrain Turf Club's distribution journey for the next two seasons," ARC Managing Director of Media & International Brendan Parnell said.
The Bahrain season runs from 31 October to 17 April, and also includes the Bahrain Turf Series which awards a similar $1m show prize to the victor.
RMG appointed Russell Ferris as its new Managing Director in April 2025, having officially started the new position on 18 August
