The Instituto Provincial de Lotería y Casinos (IPLyC) of the Buenos Aires province has begun replacing betting terminals at its official agency network in partnership with technology supplier B-Gaming, with the rollout proceeding on a district-by-district basis starting this week.
The first phase of the rollout covers 21 agencies across five districts: Tres de Febrero, Almirante Brown, Avellaneda, Ituzaingó and Escobar. All sites are scheduled to receive the new equipment between 22 and 26 June, with IPLyC publishing the list of affected agency license numbers for each district.
The new fixed terminals incorporate 15-inch touchscreens, improved connectivity with external devices and an open counter design. IPLyC says the equipment allows clearer ticket visualization for bettors and offers greater flexibility for adding new products. The institute also cited reduced technical downtime as a benefit due to higher-durability components.
To support the rollout, IPLyC has made a video tutorial, an operator manual and a FAQ guide available on its website. Online training sessions are also available on request, while B-Gaming, which is overseeing the implementation of the new equipment, has launched a dedicated helpline for technical support.
The rollout follows a coordination meeting in early June between IPLyC president Gonzalo Atanasof and provincial games director Carlos Gallo, and B-Gaming's commercial and technical leadership. At that meeting, the institute confirmed the implementation would begin in the second half of June and proceed in stages organized by district, with the stated aim of upgrading point-of-sale infrastructure across the province’s agency network.
No timeline has been announced for the completion of the full province-wide rollout.
IPLyC oversees more than 4,300 official lottery agencies distributed across the 135 districts of Buenos Aires province
