Caesars sportsbook has officially opened registration for Missouri bettors, as the state's sports betting market is quickly closing in on its December 1 launch date and will also see expansion from operators such as DraftKings, FanDuel and Circa Sports.
Missouri will be the first state to gain access to the operator's universal digital wallet functionality on the opening day of operations, allowing for deposits and withdrawals across all Caesars' platforms.
"Sports fans in Missouri regularly show their passion for sports and supporting local teams," Caesars Digital President Eric Hession said.
"We expect the Caesars Sportsbook mobile app with Universal Digital Wallet and the retail experiences we're bringing to Caesars Rewards destinations in the Show Me State to build on this passion. We're thankful to the Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC) for making this initial mobile launch possible and look forward to the full launch on December 1."
Along with the expected mobile launch on December 1, Caesars will also provide retail sports betting at its Missouri properties, including Harrah's Kansas City and Horseshoe St. Louis.
Caesars sportsbook is set to offer exclusive sign-up promotions as part of its Missouri launch, including the chance to receive profit boost tokens, $150 in bonus bets and entry into the operator's NFL Flips contest, which grants a share of $100,000 in bonus bets.
On August 15, the MGC chose to award both DraftKings and Circa Sports direct sports betting licenses, granting each operator the ability to offer sports wagering services within the state without a casino or professional sports team partner.
While FanDuel gained access to the Show Me State through a new partnership with the St. Louis City SC professional soccer franchise, Caesars will be able to offer sports betting services through its existing on-site properties in Missouri.
Sports betting analysts in Missouri have projected the market to generate a handle of $3.88bn over the first year of operations, as well as nearly $65.7m in the opening week
