Jonas Groes is joining his brother and EveryMatrix Co-Founder, Ebbe Groes, to help lead the company as Co-CEO.

From 1 January, Jonas, who has been a long-term advisor, will take up his new role and work out of EveryMatrix's new Copenhagen office.

Ebbe founded EveryMatrix back in 2008 and has served as CEO since then, while his brother Jonas has enjoyed a career consisting most recently of almost 15 years at EY.

Last week, Jonas announced his departure from the prestigious professional services company, where he had been a Partner in the Nordic branch of the firm's consulting practice.

His focus while at EY was on strategy, innovation and digitalisation projects with major Government and infrastructure clients.

He has called this next step in his career a dream come true, stating: "We work well together and our differences and combined strengths complement one another. I can't wait to get started."

Ebbe has also expressed his confidence in the decision, commenting: "To share a CEO position requires complete trust at both personal and professional level. Jonas is the perfect candidate and I know he will go on to do amazing things at EveryMatrix. I'm very excited to soon be sharing the CEO position with him."

Stian Hornsletten co-founded the iGaming software business alongside Ebbe - he also held the title of CEO for the first three years of the company's life and is now the CEO of the Games Division.
